SEQUEST membership is open to all Australian residents aged 16 and over. No communications experience is necessary as comprehensive training is provided.

Training
Training is provided on a regular basis, covering both indoor and outdoor programs. Numerous training programs
are currently in place.
During
the first stages of training members study:
map reading and navigation, equipment use and maintenance, radio communications, temporary repair techniques.
Photo
Id badges are issued to all members with photo, name, rank, callsign.
Rankings are classified as to what level of training is complete.
